1. Estimates and Quotes

Estimates and quotes are valid for 30 days and are based on the information provided at the time of issuance.

Any changes to the specifications may result in a revised estimate or quote.
2. Product Orders and Installations
-
We install only products ordered through the BathroomBuilder.je the accounts held with Pentagon, Romerils, and Wolseley.

Upon agreement on the design and product list, you will receive an invoice for all items from BathroomBuilder.je Ltd. This invoice is non-refundable.

Our local supplier will store your items until delivery to your property. Once delivered, please ensure safe storage of all items. Do not unpack any items, as this may affect the warranty.

We are not responsible for any damage or missing items if handled by anyone other than the installation team.
3. Scope of Work
-
Fixed-price quotes do not include, thermostatic controls, timers, heating elements or under floor heat matts.

Start dates are estimates only. We do not expedite one project to begin another; start dates are set in advance and confirmed close to the intended start date to ensure we can dedicate full attention to each project.

In the property owner's absence, decisions on positioning and layout may be made to prevent delays.

Some minor cosmetic issues, such as hairline cracks on adjacent walls or ceilings, may arise due to movement; these are not covered by the quote or insurance. We recommend moving picture frames and furniture in adjacent rooms, gang ways and work areas to a safe place.
4. Installation Considerations

Decoration is limited to only includes a basic white emulsion on walls and a quick-dry satin gloss on doors and frames.

Bath shower screens with moving parts are splash-proof, not watertight. For a fully watertight solution, consider a fixed shower screen.

During installation, windows and doors will be open for ventilation, and loud power tools will be used. We recommend avoiding remote work during the installation period.

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. If access is needed outside these hours, permission will be requested.

Parking for two commercial vehicles is required at the property during the project.
5. Site Cleanliness and Safety
-
Our team will maintain a clean and organized work area as much as possible; however, dust may settle in other areas of the property. Additional cleaning services can be arranged at the property owner’s expense.

Do not handle any controls or switches related to water or electrical supply until the project is complete to avoid risk of injury or damage.

Property owners are responsible for keeping pets and children away from the work area, tools, materials, and switches.
6. Special Provisions for Floor Heating and Electrical Work
-
Do not activate underfloor heating for at least three weeks post-installation, allowing adhesives adequate curing time.
-
Electrical tests are performed during underfloor heating installation as recommended by the manufacturer.
7. Shower Wall Panels
-
No guarantees or financial liability are assumed for shower wall panels if damaged before, during, or after installation. For optimal durability, we recommend using tiles.
8. Tile Ordering
-
It is recommended to order at least 15% extra tiles to cover potential breakages and waste. Leftover tiles will be left on-site for future repairs if needed.
9. Water Pumps and Pipework
-
Existing water pumps may be incompatible with new installations and may require replacement at the owner’s expense post-installation.

Only new pipework installed by our team is guaranteed. No guarantees are provided for pre-existing pipework we connect to or that runs through the property.
10. Waste Management
-
Rubbish collection occurs twice per bathroom installation. Additional collections or increased frequency can be arranged at the client’s request and may incur additional fees.
11. Alcoves and Additional Features
-
Unless specified, alcoves are not included in quotes and will be considered an additional charge. Please review your quote carefully.
12. Asbestos
-
Discovering asbestos may increase costs and cause delays. Property owners are legally required to inform the installation team if they suspect asbestos is present. Should asbestos be discovered, work will halt until it is professionally removed at the owner's expense.
13. Workspace Access
-
Any individuals entering the workspace other than the installation team do so at their own risk.
14. Additional Work and Materials
-
Extra work is charged on an hourly basis, and all materials are billed at local retail prices.
15. Billing and Payments
-
By agreeing to these terms, you confirm that you are the property owner and will pay all invoices upon receiving invoices by email. We only liaise with the property owner.

A deposit of £2,000 is required to secure the next available slot, which will be deducted from the final invoice.

You agree that you have checked your order is correct prior to paying the deposit.

You agree to making a full payment for the the total cost of the goods at least one week before work is scheduled to commence, you will receive an invoice via email.

Payment for the goods must be received before delivery of goods and work commences

Once the deposit is paid and the goods have been ordered the total cost of the goods is to be paid regardless of any changes to your circumstances as any order can not be cancelled or changed.
